My lucky day today! :) 2 nights ago i surf lowyat.net and found a S10 seller who deal with Butterworth / Penang. I have been waiting to get it since it was announced so I quickly SMS to order.

Today I receive the PINK version -- not for me, I ordered 2 units and this one for a lady colleague -- and since my colleague is busy with her own agenda i get to pick up the netbook for her and get my hands on it before the owner does. }:)

The unit comes with a charger, a booklet, and the device itself. 160GB harddisk and 1GB ram. Our units are being upgraded to 1.5GB by seller for additional RM50. Total cost is RM1799 (include the RAM upgrade, and Pink special edition charge RM50) -- therefore the black/white normal unit is RM1699.

Overall the unit is solid and beautiful. One of the concern over most reviews on the web was the heat issue. Well i would like to confirm that this issue is infact, sadly, true. The palm resting area are warm as i typing this, under normal room temperature, used for about 1 hour.

The keyboard is small. Manageable, but need some time to get used. I am not so comfortable with its layout too. The R-Shift is killing me, and the Fn key too (i am used to having Ctrl key on the lower left). Other keys are less problem because they are seldom used.

Battery life is as claimed, about 2.5 hours from full to zero. with Wifi turned on.
